According to our records, you are subscribed to AAVSO Communications and it was sent to you. Perhaps the email address we have on record for you has changed? The other possiblility, which I know can happen with Gmail users especially, is that it could wind up in your "promotions" folder which is not quite the same as spam in its mind.
In any case, I will send you a message off-list to check your email address.
Meanwhile, for anyone wishing to check or change their subscription preferences (to this or anything else), simply log in to the AAVSO website, click "My Account", then the "Email Settings" tab near the top of the page.
There is no archive of AAVSO Communications since it is just a simple email news note that has no permanent value like the regular Newsletter.
I found the e-mail. I use a web-based e-mail service, and my first try at finding AAVSO communications didn't turn up anything. But today, another search attempt found both issues. Sorry about the false alarm.
BTW, since Communications is distributed via Mailchimp, there is a way to retrieve past issues. At the top-right corner of Communications it has a link "View this email in your browser" (a mailchimp embedded feature).
I'm glad you found it and thank you for pointing out the "Past Issues" link! Since we are still so new to MailChimp, there are plenty of things we haven't yet figured out about it.
I agree that it would be good to post that link somewhere. I have added it to this announcement for now: http://www.aavso.org/introducing-aavso-communications but the whole thing probably need a more "permanent" location.
Look for the May edition which I plan to send out within the hour!

Off that page is a "Past Issues" link:

Maybe include those links somewhere on the AAVSO web site and/or include the links in this Forum thread:
