Sharing Images with non-member?

Hello,

I am a high school teacher and trying to work out how to share VPHOT processing of targets with students.   Right now the student I am working with has a website login, no observer code, but who is not a member.  When I try to share images with her username it returns an error.  Does she need an observer code or a membership to see my images?
