I've been performing DSLR photometry on Nova Sgr 2015 No. 2 every clear morning. Since I've been observing this star a lot I decided to adopt it. It is only $20 to adopt a star. I realized that I can donate $240/yr to AAVSO painlessly by donating $20 adopting a star. I've decided that I will adopt the star that I am observing the most that month. Also, when I adopt a star, I dig up as much information as possible on that star. So here is a way of increasing your knowledge of particular variable stars and painlessly donating to the AAVSO.

great idea, just adopted my first star - eta Muscae. I've been observing this eclipsing binary for a few year now for a pro-am collaboration. Cheers,
