Is R CrB about to start fading?

A few recent observations, both visual and photometric (V), show a quite sharp drop of almost a whole magnitude. This is unlike previous drops during the bright state which are usually more gentle and subtle. Can this be an indication of an imminent fading?

Very probably too early to say, but surely an inviation to continue watching carefully.

I'll check tonight with my DSLR camera

It seems there will be clear sky tonight. I'll make couple of 5 and 10s DSLR images and check visually too.

The magnitude dip is real

Now that some days have passed, in the light of the reported observations, it seems that the magnitude dip at R CrB is real and substantially larger than the fluctuations normally observed in the last months.
