I successfully loaded about four images earlier today. Then it looks like VPhot stopped processing images. I just tied to reload them again, no luck. Looks like VPhot is stuck.
I usually upload IMAGE files, but by mistake, I uploaded ZIPPED image files. It got stuck on my first image.
Please forgive me if I am responsible.

I seriously doubt that you are at fault, this seems to be a regular occurance. I uploaded about four images, then it choked on the remaining ones. I suspect yours happened after it was already stuck. I refuse to get upset about such things, after all, no data get lost. Geir and all the folks at AAVSO do their best. Happy 4th!
Just checked, looks like it is processing images again.
I'm glad things are working again. Things fail invariably on weekends or holidays when staff are not available. We're working hard on restoring all services after the computer breach, with the current concentration on aavsonet. The intent is to generate a cookbook procedure to unstick vphot, at least in the interim until we understand the problem, and then enable other staff members to get things working. That cookbook might be a week or two from now, so for the time being, just let us know when things "stick" and we'll get to it as soon as humanly possible.
Thanks Arne, we know you all are doing your best and likely nothing to be done over the holiday weekend. Looks like there is a que now, my latest images appear. Progress...However, we have been stuck on 1_21850e.fts for several hours. I will check back tomorrow and see if there is any progress. In the meantime, Happy 4th.
it looks like VPhot is stuck on processing files. I see lots of ZIP files in the cue. Is anyone looking into this? No action on the cue since more than 12 hours.
Still frozen at 3 PM EST on Friday, July 4... Kevin

I always zip my files and it doesn't cause any problem. The queue is still stuck though. Weekends as usual.
Cheers

Yes, that's mine
