I just had a problem running time series that I have not seen before.  I had a sequence start and go 2% and just stop.  I tried it again a couple times and the same thing happened.  I logged out and came back and tried again but it did exactly the same thing.  Next, I tried a different star field that I have analyzed previously and had the same result.  I realized that the program is saying it has analyzed the first image each time and just not moving on to the next image.  I have run time series many, many times in the past and not seen anything like this problem.  Suggestions?

Time Series

Mike:

I just ran three time series about 1-2 hours ago without problem. I'll try one again and report. You could try to look at / run photometry on the individual images around the one it stuck on to see if anything is unusual?

Time Series

I ran a few individual images at the start of the sequence and went back and tried again before I read the reply and it is working now.  It is one of those strange problems in that it was definitely there for about half an hour and then seems to have vanished.

Watchdog Report

Mike:

There was no Watchdog report (another tool by George) that would indicate a failure of the VPhot program, so hard to say what the problem was. Please report if you see it again.

Thanks!

Ken:

Thanks a bunch for the rapid response.  I'm working hard to have some things to show next week.  I'm glad that it seems to be a temporary glitch and seems fine now.  I'll let you know if it happens again.

Time Series Just Worked

Mike:

My 137 AL Gem images just worked normally. So look again at a few images in your series. Of course, that does not answer why your other series did the same thing??

You might share a few images around the problem with me at MZK.
