I uploaded images and need to look at them (well, more than look) but haven't been able to log into VPHOT for 3 hours now. Anything going on?
Tried again at 9:09 UT. No change.

There are some problems at the Amazon level and the problem is being worked on.

Keep struggling George. AAVSO has just as many A's and O's in it as AMAZON, so we should be important to them.

Wasn't there a mirror once running at HQ before, and if not, shouldn't we have a backup system to fall back to in these cases? (I never much liked managed services - stuff gets out of your control :(

VPhot is backup. 240 files processed, queue is 800.
The problem was Amazon's: old hardware ready to retire. Our IT guys backed up the instance and got us restarted.
There may be some hic-ups as we re-tune, but our attention is focused on keeping this running as smooth as possible.
