Intro

The AAVSO has had an Eclipsing Binary Committee for many decades.  Like the other AAVSO observing 'committees', it has been relabelled as a 'Section', with a renewed effort towards observing eclipsing binary stars. 

The intent of this site is to provide a resource for variable star observers regarding observing eclipsing binary stars.  It assumes you are familiar with variable stars in general, and performing photometry, particulary with CCD cameras.  Information about those "prerequisites" is available from the main AAVSO website (see links at lower right).
