Just tried to print out a chart for this object and got an error saying it is not found by its name. I was able to get a chart by coords entry. Could someone add the proper name to the Db? Thanks!

I had no problem printing out this chart.  Try leaving a space between HS and the coordinates.  If you go to the alert notices and copy/paste, you will rarely have problems in naming conventions.

Spaces spaces

I did copy and paste from the alert notice! Maybe the software needs a slight modification to generally ignore white spaces in names. I have run into this problem several times before, and it is a bit irritating to try to figure out exactly the right format to type in, down to each space!

HS 0218+3229 spacing in name

My sincere apologies for the confusion over the spacing in the name HS 0218+3229. We used to omit the space and I did not internalize its presence when I checked the VSX entry.  I have corrected the webpage for AAVSO Special Notice #315.

Error in Vis observations?

Hello

The light curve generator shows about a half dozen observations of this object at 11th magnitude and several hundred others at 16-17th.  There is not even an 11th mag object near this source.  Could the observers doing Vis on this object, double check, as something is clearly wrong.  There are about a half dozen ccd observers with it at 16-17.

Thanks

visual observations

These are all from the same observer, along with another observation from the same observer that is marked "fainter-than."  My guess is that these are all fainter-than observations.  We'll check with the observer.  Thanks for pointing this out, Gary!
