Hi!
Recently, I have encountered this a few times. I produce the reports from VPHOT and proceed to upload to WebObs. However, trying to do this, I get this error message:
Line Number 8: The magnitude must have a decimal point.
Well. The file was created by VPHOT. And as far as I can see, there IS a decimal point. File attached. Anyone got an idea what this is all about?

Hi Magnus:
First 'guess' is that the target name is giving a problem although I'm not sure why (spacing?). Did you get the name automatically from the VPhot VSX catalog? Did you input the name manually with space and underscores?
I also noted that you have a check star that you entered manually (Star 1). Are there no AAVSO Comps? Share image to MZK.
Please try this first and see what happens?

Hi!
Thanks!! I did not see that, the "Star 1". I must have missed the intended check star (103). Now I've adjusted the check star and it works. Thanks!!
I do not adjust neither the target names nor anything else in the files. That's why I was surprised.
And I must say this was an odd error message for coming from a failure to choose check star, wasn't it?
