My name is Damien Lemay (LMA), I live in the province of Quebec, Canada. I have been an amateur astronomer since my childhood, and now retired I have moved to the countryside in order to enjoy a good sky right at home. In my professional life, as a telecommunication engineer I went through many revolutions, from open wire to microwaves, to fiber optic and finally the internet. I began astrophotography in the mid 1970s but tired of just nice pictures, I want to get science out of my observing effort, then my interest in variables stars.
