Has anyone looked at the RCB star, S APS lately. It was 101 on 7 May. It seems to have dropped down to 106 last night (12 May). I wonder of this is the start of a decline. The last big minimum was in 2007-2008.
This star has dimmed dimmed by about half a magnitude over the past week. I estimated it to be at 10.5 last night (13th) and It's worth watching to see if the decline continues.
I saw the star on 4 May at 9.7, didn't look on 7 May (as it was my 81st birthday) and on 11 May there was lots of light pollution from a neighbour plus lots of dew so I could only record <9.8.
