AAVSO Times of Maxima and Minima of Long Period Variables: Current data

These data consist of formally published data for the years 1900 to 2008, and data for the years 2009 through the present for a subset of these stars.  Data from 2009 to the present were those used for calculations of the AAVSO Bulletin, and are considered preliminary.  For a description of this data set, please click here.

Introduction

Long-term observations of long period variable stars are essential to the determination of period, change in period, change in behavior resulting from mass loss and/or evolution, mode of pulsation (fundamental or overtone), internal structure, and phase at specific times for these stars.
